“You called me,” rasped a shadowy voice.
“I called for answers,” said the man, his voice hollow, as though his soul had spoken before his tongue could shape the words.
“I am the answer,” the shadow grinned.
“The answer?” whispered the man, more to himself than to the presence behind.
“The only one worth hearing,” said the shadow. “Do you think the truth is a flame you can warm yourself by?”
Man’s lips curled into a faint, bitter smile.
The fire crackled softly in the stillness of the night, its embers flickering like dying stars. The man sat close to the flames, his gaze fixed, searching. His voice was low and hoarse, a silent whisper.
“Do I even need it?” his eyes flickering with doubt.
“You still bargain with yourself over the cost,” said the shadow mockingly…

The Will
Before creation, there was a relentless Will—an unyielding force, igniting all beings into the eternal battle of existence.
The Shadow
Prime agent of the Will, antagonist and guide—a master of trickery, pulling people like marionettes, bending them to the purpose of the Will.
Thurê & Lanâ
The world, born of unity of these two primordial spirits, embody the eternal duality: mind and matter. Thurê shapes the realm of thought, while Lanâ weaves the fabric of reality. Bound together, they give birth to all creation, for neither can exist without the other.
The Eternals
Children of the Will—the First of the Eternals, born of the primal force, embody raw power for creation. Through strife, they carve reality. Humans, the distant Fifth Generation, linger as mere echoes of the Will.
